Groves -- Magnificent publication ... however ... : This effort by messers Ponder and Lindberg will be an essential part of any malacological library for years to come. However the binding is terrible and my copy was broken upon arrival .... hopefully the publishers will compensate if your copy arrives in bad shape. To glue 900 pages instead of using stitched binding was a mistake. (The 5 star rating is for the content and not the poor binding). Happy reading. It is wonderfully illustrated with drawings and photos . If you are a conchologist, malacologist or just some one interested in biology who wants to further their knowledge I encourage you to purchase a copy of this set of books. They are unbelievable.
